Tax Free

Tax Free applies to purchases of €50 or more, and only on goods purchased (excluding purchases for resale, and services such as restaurants).

In UBBO stores:
Make sure the store is a Tax Free member;
At the check-out counter, ask for Tax Free;
Complete the available form, providing your passport number, traveler’s name and country of residence. Also on the form indicate the method of refund – credit card, check, bank transfer or at the airport;
Keep the completed form and the original receipt.

At the Airport:
Go to the Alfandêga counter or the Tax Free operator’s counter;
Present the purchase form and receipt. You may be asked to show the product you purchased;
Once the form is validated, you will receive your refund;
