UBBO will host a special animation workshop in partnership with MONSTRA – Lisbon Animation Festival, for an afternoon dedicated to creativity, movement, and imagination.
On May 16th, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., families and children can try out different animation techniques in a free workshop led by Fernando Galrito and Tiago Galrito. The activity will combine pixilation—a stop-motion technique using the human body—with cutout and 3D animation, using various materials, including UBBO merchandise.
Throughout the session, participants will discover how to transform movements and objects into small frame-by-frame animations, exploring the behind-the-scenes world of animated film in a fun way. No prior knowledge is required, just a willingness to experiment and create.
The workshop will take place in the Container Zone of Central Plaza, and participation is free upon registration via the UBBO APP. Spots are limited to 20 participants.
